[Taking his time to wander in behind Jason, Dick doesn't want his lover to see his expression because it means something to him. There's a smell in the air, fermentation and the city. The view is pretty damn awesome too. They can see both ways, far into downtown and uptown. There's this excellent fire escape that's right off the back of the joint, where they can hang out, stick a tiny grill and make hot dogs (for chili cheese dogs), and talk. Plus, they can get to wherever they want from the apartment directly, even the bar.

The bed is a queen, with room for a King if they really wanted to upgrade. They'd have to take out a nightstand, but who cares about that. Dick can already see them spending nights in the bathtub soaking sore muscles and drinking beer from downstairs, with orders of cheeseburgers and whatever else they serve down there.

It's a life they could build. But, he doesn't want to move ahead to fast. One day at a time, right. One place at a time. ]

I did mention there's a bar attached, that makes food and their own beer. We could always harass people on slow nights.
