There's only one real way to really make it their place and that's to make love in it, of course.
Who cares if they're taking away the couch and bed in the weeks and month to come to bring in more comfortable versions later. Who cares if Jason and Dick will later make this place their own. Dick wanted furniture so they could move in immediately, as in now, tonight. This is why. He didn't want to waste a second of their time.
